Labor Day sales for outdoor gear you need to take advantage of

My number one rule for outdoor gear is to never, and I mean never, buy anything full price. Good gear is expensive and brands do enough sales throughout the year that you shouldn't have to buy anything full price.

As Labor Day approaches, try to get the gear you need for your upcoming adventures or even next summer while prices are hot! To help you out, here are some of my favorite items that are discounted this time of year.

Woom Bikes

These bikes for kids are the most well-made kids bike out there and worth every penny. Our kids learned how to bike on a Woom and we just keep buying the next size up because they're that good.

Woom is having a sale for 30% off bikes plus free shipping starting August 21st for a limited time, and if you're planning on getting a bike for your child, I would jump on this deal for sure.

Portable Power Station

If you don't have a portable power station, I highly recommend one. I don't mean to be dramatic, but I think these power stations have revolutionized camping. Plug in lights, charge your phone, power up that campsite!

RTIC Coolers

RTIC coolers are my favorite because they're just as tough and keep drinks just as cold as the top brands (that charge way too much money) at a fraction of the cost. Starting August 27th, hard coolers will be 10% off, Soft Coolers will be 15% off, and tumblers will be 20% off.

Slumber Jacket

Alright, this might be my absolute favorite camping item I own. It's the Voited Slumber Jacket and I am always the coziest, happiest person at the campground on chillier nights because of this thing. We recently got the Snow Peak Camp Kitchen and we love it. The IGT set can be expanded upon with countless additions, so we're excited to grow ours. We're planning on getting the table next!

Snow Peak is a great brand in general. It's a Japanese company so you know the build is innovative and well made. I've never tried out their tents or tarps sets, but I'm confident in the brand and a select few are 30% starting August 22nd!
